Joe is heavily involved in his community of Lakeland, FL, where his wife, five children, and dog live.

David Long, PE

He is a Florida native from Plant City. If he is not working, he is riding his mountain bike, playing softball, on the boat water skiing, putting around in his old Chevy, or something outside the office!

Mark Dunn, PE

VP, Tampa Roadway Group Leader

Project Management, Roadway Design (Reconstruction and RRR), and Maintenance of Traffic Design

When not at work you can find Mark hanging out with his wife, two children, and two dogs, or enjoying the day hitting the links with a nice cold beer.

Trevor Hawkins, PE

Trevor is a native of Colorado but has called Tampa his home for over a decade. Outside of engineering, he enjoys spending time with his family, tinkering on home projects, golf, and pickleball.

Joe has called Tampa Bay home since 1991. When not supporting the transportation industry, he can be found smoking meats for office/social functions or stalking the flats on his paddleboard.

Chris Smith

Senior Project Manager

Production Manager with extensive FDOT experience

Chris is a Florida native and makes time to visit his four grandsons and one granddaughter whenever possible. He is a private pilot, rides a unicycle, and juggles, but never all three at the same time.

Adam Perez, PE

Highway design projects ranging from local streets to principal arterials

Adam is a Florida native from Tampa. Outside of engineering roads, he can be found doing home renovations or enjoying a drive in his classic Chevy.

Eddie Giese, PE

Associate, Design Development Group Leader

3D Modeling, Temporary Traffic Control

You can usually find Eddie cracking a dad joke around his five kids and wife, fishing, golfing, DIYing, eating steamed crabs, geeking out over the latest tech, or playing his guitars.

Chad Thompson, PE

Tallahassee Roadway Group Leader

Areas of Expertise:
Expert knowledge and understanding of Federal-Aid programs and regulations, FDOT policies and procedures, Federal Discretionary Grant programs, FHWA Emergency Relief program

Outside of work, Chad enjoys traveling the world with his family, nearing their goal of visiting all the European countries. He also is a certified USA Swimming Official and helps run meets throughout Florida.

Dmitriy Mayboroda, PE, PTOE

Roadway design and modeling (using Civil 3D), roundabout and intersection design, traffic signal design and coordination, cost estimation and contract document preparation. 

Outside of his professional pursuits, Dmitriy cherishes time with his wife, Veronika, and their five children, and actively participates in the LHBC church in Sarasota.

Mose Howard, PE

Roadway design and management of minor and major FDOT Projects, both conventional and non-conventional.

Mose is an outdoor enthusiast and a native of Tampa. When not busy with work, he enjoys outdoor adventures with his family in the year-round warm Florida weather.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Mark recently relocated to Florida. Outside of work, Mark can be found anywhere near water or on the golf course.

Eric is a dedicated father, adrenaline junkie, and enthusiast of all things with wheels. In his free time, he likes to get lost in the forest on off-road trails, take his kids for a bike ride, or wrench on one of his project vehicles.

Jonathan is a native Floridian and has called Central Florida home since 2007. When not at work, you can find Jonathan spending quality time with his wife and kids, playing hockey, or watching any UCF sporting event (Go Knights!).

Jeff self-identifies as a nerd. When not hanging out with his four sons and wife, he enjoys his coin collecting, metal detecting, and studying cosmology, quantum physics, and multiverse hypotheses, for fun.

Gabriel Gonzalez, PE

Gabriel is not a Florida native, though he considers himself one. He enjoys spending time with family, practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, going to the beach, the Miami Dolphins, and F1 Racing.

Carrie is a Nebraska native and has been in Florida since 2013. Most of her time outside of work is busy with her kids. In her free time, she enjoys finding new home or craft projects, puzzles, and tennis.
