Immerse yourself in the world of civil engineering!

We offer a range of internship programs designed to immerse students in Transportation Engineering. The STEP Internship Program, running May through August, allows students to explore various transportation engineering disciplines, including Roadway, Drainage, Structures, and Traffic & ITS, as well as other departments like Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Environmental. This program provides a comprehensive understanding of project development from design to construction. Our year-round internship program provides students with opportunities to gain real-world experience while pursuing their education. Our discipline-specific internships are available for students looking to intern in a particular discipline, over the summer or during a semester. Interns collaborate directly with staff across PGA’s offices. They participate in technical training and engage in field reviews. Discipline-specific internships focus on our core areas such as Structures, Roadway, Drainage, and Traffic & ITS, where interns benefit from continuous professional development and immersive training experiences.

PGA’s mission is simple: We exist to elevate our families, communities, and profession. This is demonstrated by our unwavering commitment to mentor the next generation of community-focused, technically adept, and solution-oriented engineers.
